hey Rob, yes the ema was present but the no trade in box rule was not in force then, so your results will be different... i'm happy at the moment with 75 pips as the TP, daily range average i have is 145, so its still around half despite it ranging ...

Rob, none whatsoever mate, you can set your SL and TP to whatever suits your style and risk appetite. as i have said i trade for clients that like seeing minimal DD so went with the settings i have cheers Grant

Hey Ifee, welcome along. the time used is 4-6 am UK time year round. at the moment that is the same as GMT. the 5-7 quoted was in answer to another members question whose broker is gmt +1 cheers Grant

Rob i stopped trading for the year on the 14th Dec where as i think most traders stopped on the 18th... the backtest ran from the first day of trading in 2009 (5th jan) to the end of august where my live account results take over... as i'm in the UK ...
