Embry1 replied Sep 17, 2017Here's an exact clone of the indicators but for the MT4 platform. Thought I'd save everyone some time for this easy strategy. I did however make an error in the original post which is now revised. The MA is not a 200 SMA but a 100 EMA for those of ...

Embry1 replied Sep 16, 2017I'm not opposed to someone coding it into an EA, it won't be me though lol.

Embry1 replied Sep 16, 2017Looks like you've got a good grasp on this, the platform I use for charting is Thinkorswim but you can also use MT4. I execute the trades through MT4. As far as exits, my typical exit strategy is when Stoch reaches 70+ on a long or -30 on a short. ...

Embry1 replied Sep 15, 2017Thanks, yeah basket trading gives me way too much free time but I am still testing multiple strategies daily don't worry. This manual approach is just too good not to share.

Embry1 replied Sep 15, 2017Here's a little treat that's a little off topic for this thread but since we have had discussions about manual trading with and without the EA I figure this would be very handy for some of you who are interested in manual and semi-manual trading. I ...

Embry1 replied Sep 15, 2017I'll give that a shot, that'll save a little time out of my day.

Embry1 replied Sep 15, 2017Yes I completely remove the EA and reattach it to make sure that it opens flawlessly. It's a lot more work but I used to have problems with the EA not opening and that seems to help.

Embry1 replied Sep 15, 2017Right now the question is 07:00 and 11:00 or 08:00 and 12:00. Today it seems like the 11:00 and 12:00 caught the peak of the trend so they are in some DD right now. It also is huge to have appropriate TP, SL, and profit lock for consistent results. ...

Embry1 replied Sep 15, 2017Looks like the winner this week will be manual trading followed by FXM EQB and Strength H4 timed. I will post the settings for each basket once the 12:02 baskets close. 10-20% a week with automated trading is very possible and we are getting closer ...

Embry1 replied Sep 14, 2017Interesting results here. Seems that FXM Strength indicator is working wonders for the monthly baskets and is doing horrible for weekly. CCFp is doing horrible for monthly but excelling in weekly. Both setups are positive, but it's interesting to ...

Embry1 replied Sep 14, 2017Not a fantastic day but my platforms where I cut TO performed better than the ones with TO. I'm going to strictly cut out TO for all baskets and run 07:00 and 11:00 GMT all next week and tomorrow to see if the results are better. The news today was ...

Embry1 replied Sep 13, 2017That's good to know, however even if it was., cutting out TO would still make it a break even day. I'll test TO a few more times but I think for strength 4H it's best to leave out TO. Surprisingly the most profitable time has been 12:02 so far.

Embry1 replied Sep 13, 2017So my trusty Strength 4H had the TO fail and hit 300 pip SL but my 12:02 basket just hit TP very quickly. The LO didn't fire because my laptop restarted overnight. so overall it was breakeven for strength 4H which I'll take for a bad day. Not sure ...

Embry1 replied Sep 12, 2017What I've noticed from TO baskets is that they usually only do well if they make it to LO. I've had maybe one or two hit TP before LO but it's a rarity. I'm not sure why you're still having issues with LO not opening, that's a huge bummer.

Embry1 replied Sep 12, 2017As you can see by my trade explorers, I'm mostly focusing on STR 4 hour and some CCFP 4 hour time frames. I am getting fantastic results and pretty consistent. However I'll do a few more tests but I'm considering cutting Tokyo and doing either a ...

Embry1 replied Sep 8, 2017There's really no settings involved I'm just taking trades that fit my own personal criteria. However I will check my Strength H4 and CCFp H4 indicator and if the trade I want to take is on there, that's a good sign lol.

Embry1 replied Sep 8, 2017Man won today lol. At least for LO and US. 8% in two days just trading manually is quite a thrill. Duplicating the trades with smaller size on my live account as well.

Embry1 replied Sep 8, 2017Looks like manual trading takes the cake for LO. Nothing has done well so far for LO it has been very very choppy for timed baskets.
