Lindman replied Feb 11, 2016I'm just trying to figure out when the arrows paint. If they paint during the bar, 90% of the time I notice there's still time to open a position and get a few pips out even if the trend reverses the other direction a couple bars later.

This SAR will follow the top of the candle plus it could attach to next candle and go up don't forget. This is not a sure short yet.

Your chart too does not match Dove's. You and I are missing the low SAR attached to the candle 3 candles before today's sydney opening line (has the green arrow underneath it). I am currently trying to change brokers to get the correct data.

Why isn't the SAR appearing on my chart though? And also our prices are different for Magenta high. Weird. Is it because I opened MT4 after 6pm not 5pm?

You have to wait until next candle to see if it will stay flipped. If price goes up then that parabolic will repaint.

With dodger blue making a max, we will see downward movement

Price also bounced off parabolic resistance even though white crossed purple.

Another thing, when I have my charts maximized the fibo sometimes flips. Opposed to when I have 2 chart windows open (each half size) the fibo can be flipped in the opposite direction.

By "the low side" do you mean the green SAR price box at 128.250?
