Basically the bullish or bearish trend is determined by the 30 and 50 exponential moving average ...

Pathetic???...What about all the USD being printed...QE2 now QE3 along with european bailouts.....more money in circulation...less value to each dollar.....less value to each dollar means more dollars to buy the same amount of gold ???

I think that is a good analysis....I have found the fibs to be the most powerful of all the indicators...nice to see them on your chart. Personally....I don't put as much weight on the waves...but they definitely are a factor. Nice post

Eehhh...I normally leave my buys open....I have calculated my margin call down at 1300 with the current buys open.....so have enough equity to ride it out until gold goes up again. So rather than take the loss....I just ride it out.

I have a set a couple of buy limits on the 1hr chart on support 2 and 3. 1772.80 and 1763 respectively. Both have a 600pip($6) trailing stop. Still have a few negative buys riding above the current price of 1793. hitting the sack...will see what has ...

There are bearish butterflies on H4 and daily....so technically I expect it to go down. however if 730am cst usd news is negative for usd it should go up....but since euro is in disarray and there is demand for usd....bad news for usd may make gold ...

agreed....heavy resistance around 1760....will prob bounce down off of 1760....maybe even back towards 1700....then up again....but if it breraks thru the 1760....I think we should see a strong move upwards. stilll have my 2 buys open from previous ...
