From looking purely at the chart and PA can you determine whether a short covering is in progress or a 'real' rally caused by buying or is it more reading between the lines as to the feeling and emotions of the market participants?

The range so far today is larger than average, does that therefore mean that we may well have reached the highs of today. Even if after US equities open it rises, surely it can't go up too far?

Nothing is ever certain, but the thoughts are that if levels break, then the target is the next level. But it doesn't always happen. Nothing in trading is a certainty. Use it perhaps to give weight to other situations you may see.

Oh I agree entirely that the Euro is screwed. I myself am only trading short for the foreseeable. I was more questioning why the line in the sand of 2090 had been drawn.
