Oanda is probably the worst broker for charting. You might want to consider any MT4 based platform for the charting with brokers like FXDD , Northfinance etc. Straddle - Yes.

Search the FF Calendar for last few months for the news you want. Then look up the charts for what typical price movement each one had.

The weirdness of MT4

I would straddle the news. Whether BOJ increases rates or not, there is going to be a swing one way or the other, so a straddle for me.
