Question for you all.... — If we saw a near 600 pip move lower in just 2 days, would we all be looking to go long? Everyone would be predicting sub 100, but no one is saying >170 right now. The psychology of this game is EVERYTHING. TA says ...

Maybe not.... — Maybe not yet, but like I said I'm positioning for a longer term setup.
Every man and his dog are bearish on Dollar; means one thing.

Yea I know — Yea, I saw that. Just adding small positions for a longer term trade. EU has been correlating quite well with Gold lately and I think Gold is very toppy. Once Dollar recovers, (and it will), both EU and Gold will plummet.

I've just posted what could be causing Sterling strength. Why look for other reasons?

Sterling strength — Bloomies speculating that the sudden strength in Sterling is down to a report today which indicates the BoE are to stop their asset purchase plan. The previous notion was they would 'invest' a further £25Bn probably next ...

Aussie has remained strong too. Dollar is next I think. Worth remembering, Sterling fell more than Euro and Aussie too. The J P Morgan results yesterday cannot be understated; they were staggering.

Reversal? — Why would anyone wait for the reversal? TRADE THE DAMN TREND. If anyone wants confirmation of end of trend, just plot a 14 WMA on their chosen TF and exit when price closes below it. GY shorts are for gamblers right now IMO.

Sorry to hear that — Go away, lick your wounds and you'll be able to come back stronger. I like the way you think most of the time, but we should not get lost in any fundamental beliefs, (or Auslanco thread beliefs). It's very easy to read ...

Hey man. I'm also short Euro and Gold. No position on GY now. The wall of fear has taken over. lol. BUT, I would not be surprised to see GY climb much higher very quickly. What time is GS report?

It won't last forever, obviously, but do not be surprised if this is just the start of something much bigger. Good luck shorts.Auslanco - GBP/JPY and GBP/USD (newstrade)

Goldman Report today..... — ....This is today's biggie. I said yesterday that the big boys wanted to buy cheaper. The quick fall from the open yesterday was very trappish. We didn't see any further drops during Asia, so it looks like we could ...

Hmmmm — Now I need to say this reservedly, but GY is looking like a short for Asia. Not sure if it's 50 pips of 150, but after the US close, we could see the reality of Dow being at 10000.
