Yes they most probably are short longer term, currently the up move is corrective, so either they have closed some positions and are aiming to sell higher , nothing wrong in being long short term so long as you get out early enough before the drop.

The 3 wave pattern in the B of ABC completed on nearly every pair i monitor, , i'am starting to believe the algo theory but then again it fits with elliott wave theory perfectly and there were no algos in those days.

The problem i see with that 3 wave pattern is that it should have another 3 wave pattern at B but it does not, because b itself is a correction in the ABC.
