FED did not raise the interest rates, and that will remain for some time. However inflation is rising. So that could have given gold some more room to go up.

I am a beginner in this trading. I looked to the chart and we are close to the lower edge of the decreasing channel in D1. ~1.1660 is major resistance to upside. 1.13 looks possible from the trend.
