JR97 replied May 12, 2010It's not a bad place to begin. But as it is with all of this esoteric stuff, it takes practice to really get the hang of it. Sometimes years. Think of it like learning a musical instrument. You can read all the books you want about the piano, learn ...

JR97 replied May 12, 2010What you've described is pretty much my usage for astro. Find which hands of the big clock happens to be in sync with a market and time frame and watch for price reaction when price and time hook up. In my experience, the shorter cycles will change ...

JR97 replied May 12, 2010fxsignal... Measuring swings like that in price/time is something I do often. But in my experience and study, it rarely works out arbitrarily. There are numbers of vibration that will fit like a glove using your measurement method, but you have to ...

JR97 replied May 12, 2010A buddy of mine trades for a hedge fund in NY. He uses astro quite a bit although he keeps it pretty much on the down-low that he does. Another buddy of mine was a hard core astrology guy way before he ever got into trading. Once he heard of the ...

JR97 replied May 12, 2010Very good with Gann's balanced/overbalanced time. I find it interesting that Gann would describe that phenom. and then veil how to correct for it. He also said that time-price are one and when time and price square, change is inevitable. So ...

JR97 replied May 9, 2010GBPUSD 1h chart with a square. Price initial impulse in the square went 3 1/2 squares of price. The crash bottom was at 3 1/2 squares of time. Embarrassingly, I completely traded that bottom wrong. I kept trying to catch the bottom before the bar ...

JR97 replied May 9, 2010Haven't updated here in a while. Things were going great.. I was in the top 15 but had ways to go to catch the leaders. I went larger on trade size right when the markets took a dump on Thursday. Got stupid and caught up in trying to find a bottom ...

JR97 replied May 9, 2010Gann talks a lot about price-time squaring. The concept is basically treat price and time as equal measurements much like the way Einstein talked about space-time. Anywho, the chart below takes price from a high, establishes cycles based on price ...

JR97 replied May 6, 2010I marked that off the other day. As with the curren Ur. Sat. Opp, it creates a great setup for aspecting faster bodies as triggers to watch for. This can be done down to the 5 min. time frame if you know what you're doing.

JR97 replied May 5, 2010Very nice. A buddy of mine has been doing something similar for years with Delta and aspects. You can actually work them out down to intraday. Pain in the butt in my opinion maintaining the cycle counts intrdaday, but he kills the gbp/jpy doing it.
