michaelpelly replied Dec 18, 2013I do not know any living person (I know a lot) that will say - "I made millions in short-term and day-trading" - 99% are failing in 3-5 yrs. But I've met traders in banks/financial institutions that do only strategic FX trading (6 - 18 months ...

michaelpelly replied Dec 18, 20132012 an 2013 the pairs in question did a really good swing movements - very straightforward and focused, especially the cable during 2013. If day-trading gets no value - move to weekly swings. I'm afraid day-trading will gets more and more wonky due ...

michaelpelly commented Dec 16, 2013Well - here are my 50 cents. Trend reversals is something I've never seen somebody to predict consistently. I remember when year ago EU got to 1.37 and then started to decline rapidly there were comments from forum members (known names) - "It can't ...

michaelpelly commented Dec 15, 2013The so called economy science is just a bunch of rules based on humanpsychology and observations for the last 5000 years. There is nothing fundamentally sound in this "science" - just mathematical extrapolations on several really wild guess concepts.

michaelpelly commented Dec 9, 2013Well - same case with "Abenomics" - how one with sane mind could believe the structural economical problems can be solved by debt-issuing and money printing?! It's all smoke and mirrors to save the ultra-rich-money.

michaelpelly commented Dec 1, 2013Good call at the long (14-Nov). I have some doubts about reversing at 1.6380 - but one never knows (50/50%). My short position there is with reduced size to avoid too much unnecessary money waste.

michaelpelly commented Dec 1, 2013Well, I got short at 1.6380 with 50 pips SL, targeting a swing reversal bellow 1.6000. Nothing more to add. No fractals, no chaos, no waves. Just betting for profit with 1:12 risk:reward ratio.

michaelpelly commented Nov 30, 2013Couple things. This surge was classical SL hunting (pump and dump). The E/U did not notched more than 10 pips. Definitely cable-oriented rather than weak dollar (see dollar against Aussie, Kurodyen, loonie). Can't see cable above 1.67 if Euro also ...

michaelpelly commented Nov 29, 2013I definitely add to smaller loosing positions to average, or use hedging to dampen - the difference counts if you do series of loosing minitrades for like 0.1% rather to cut several loosing trades at 1 or 2% each - in long term money/risk management ...
