Pollux replied Apr 4, 2010When trading with Oanda or an ECN? Btw, does anyone have slippage problems with Oanda? I read that they can fill an order of up to 10M units. But how large would the slippage be in that case?
Which MM or ECN brokers can beat Oanda Spread?

Pollux replied Feb 9, 2010I remember that every client received a notification that their accounts will be transferred to FxPro but this process won't affect their money or trading. So I don't think your friend couldn't withdraw money because of this.

Pollux replied Jan 30, 2010It didn't happen to me but there shouldn't be any problems returning funds back to a credit card (problems may be with prepaid cards). Anyway until Monday there is no chance of having back your money. Neither banks nor brokers work these days.
Has this ever happened to anyone?

Pollux replied Jan 29, 2010Impossible. If a pegged currency was the answer to all of our problems then it wouldn't have been abandoned 40 years ago and never reconsidered again. Time proved it's a bad choice. In no time there would be no money left in a country's treasury and ...

Pollux replied Dec 17, 2009Well, I'm not sure it's safe to say if it will go up or down in Asian session only by analyzing volume from the end of NY session. It's quite normal to slowly decrease. The volume would be the same for both the price moving up or down. And here you ...

Pollux replied Dec 12, 2009If it's not commission, it's rollover. If it's not rollover, it will be leverage and so on. Broker with 0 spread, 0 commission, positive rollover rates either for buy or sell doesn't and won't exist. Every business implies some costs. If you don't ...

Pollux replied Dec 7, 2009Ok. You can try FxPro. It offers 500:1, it is quite regulated (at least one of the best in Europe with that leverage) and it has low spreads. Or you could try FXCM as they too have low spreads and are better regulated but I can't offer you details ...

Pollux replied Dec 6, 2009Why would you do that? Instead of foolishly loose your money by trading before news release, without stops and with high leverage why don't you learn how to trade currency? Which is an art and not a casino or something. What you want to do is pure ...

Pollux replied Dec 5, 2009You can negotiate comission/fee if we're talking about an ECN (eg. MBtrading) but with an ECN you won't be able to have lower spreads since they don't set ones. There are some market makers brokers which have more account types where you can get 1 ...

Pollux replied Dec 5, 2009You'll still have to pay the spread when you close your position, unless you have again 0 pips spread. Because when you buy, for example, even if there is no difference between bid and ask it will soon be one. And then bid price could decrease by ...
