Embry1 replied Sep 20, 2017Yes, the only thing I would say is that the price does not have to be crossing back above 30 or below 70. Once you see the signals forming wait for the current candle to close and if the next candle still holds all 4/4 signals then enter. You can ...

Embry1 replied Sep 19, 2017So divergence is an extremely important thing to be aware of and look for in any strategy, it's just a common tool in any form of trading. Here's how to identify it with stochastic: First, AngelicaMari just shared a good indicator for stochastic ...

Embry1 replied Sep 19, 2017Good work. No you didn't jump the gun, as long as you saw the signals forming and the next candle opened with 4/4 signals then it's a valid 4/4. Even if it didn't, on a day like today where there was almost nothing to choose from a strong 3/4 signal ...

Embry1 replied Sep 19, 2017For some reason it wont let me upload the actual set file, but here are the settings. Just plug it in and create a .set if you wish. So far this has yielded the best results. I run this on 08:02 and 12:02. Today 07:02 and 11:02 would have been ...

Embry1 replied Sep 19, 2017That's a nice template, seems to be easy to use for this strategy. I'd have to watch it for a while to see if I would prefer to use it. I do really like the divergence lines. One thing I do want to avoid is over analyzing this strategy because it's ...

Embry1 replied Sep 19, 2017There were quite a few good looking signals this morning before I woke up, which is making me extremely consider waking up earlier. I haven't seen a worthwhile setup yet this morning so I'm still sitting on my hands. However I did want to point out ...

Embry1 replied Sep 19, 2017Not opposed to it, would you share a link to the tool you're using? Or just attach the file. I'll take a look at it to see if it helps. So far I haven't needed an additional indicator but anything constructive to the strategy is appreciated.

Embry1 replied Sep 18, 2017Stoch doesn't have to agree, EMA 100 is pretty important though. Just take the same principles and make sure you don't have anything major (like all signals showing the opposite direction). Checking the 1H chart when entering on the 15 minute is ...

Embry1 replied Sep 18, 2017For the AUD/JPY trade there was a previous 4/4 signal on the same PSAR line. Always cross check the 15 minute chart if you're looking to enter on the 1H and check the 1H if you're entering the 15 minute time frame. It was pretty extended at that ...

Embry1 replied Sep 18, 2017SL is roughly 20 pips per pair, usually I have a higher TP than SL but for this particular basket matching the TP and SL seem to work fine. Profit lock starts at 50% of the TP with a 70% lock. Example would be if I had a 100 pip TP it would begin at ...

Embry1 replied Sep 18, 2017So almost all the baskets were red today except for Strength H4. It's a really strong basket but the TP, SL, and profit lock are so important. Today there were only about 7 pairs when the basket opened so I had to quickly adjust the TP, SL, and ...

Embry1 replied Sep 18, 2017Demo wouldn't let me trade USD/JPY at the time I saw this signal but squeezed a few pips on this one on my live account. Most of the 15 minute chart trades should be 10-20 pip trades. Find a few of these a day and a few great 1H setups during the ...

Embry1 replied Sep 18, 2017Here are the "by the book" 4/4 signal opportunities this morning (for me, US trader) on the 15 minute chart. The only one I took is the EUR/USD because I wake up at around 6:45 Central time and just missed CHF/JPY and EUR/JPY signals.

Embry1 replied Sep 18, 2017Seeing a decent setup on CADJPY 1H, I'm a little late to the party though on this. PSAR is a little further away than I'd like it so SL would be under middle bollinger band or last candle.

Embry1 replied Sep 18, 2017Depends on the trade, on a strong 4/4 signal I would recommend looking for an exit based on the PSAR breaking so you could trail it behind the PSAR. Especially if there's a lot of room between the PSAR and middle bollinger band or EMA 100.

Embry1 replied Sep 17, 2017Here's another absolute beauty. With 4/4 signals, exiting when the PSAR is broken seems to be the best possible exit for the best risk/reward.

Embry1 replied Sep 17, 2017You can certainly trade it that way. I recommend loading up the indicators or template and finding where the signals line up and see if you would benefit from entering once the stoch reaches above 30 or below 70. What is going to happen just like ...

Embry1 replied Sep 17, 2017Yes that is a valid 4/4 signal, it is a shame that it was at market close, I wouldn't trade it at market open today because it could be volatile. It's worth it to watch though. There's also a valid 4/4 signal on the GBP/JPY, however I don't like the ...

Embry1 replied Sep 17, 2017Here is an excellent example of the strength of all 4 signals lining up on the 1 hour chart. The yellow line would be where the signals line up and your entry, the red line would be a good exit as the PSAR breaks, and the orange line would be the ...
