USDCAD thoughts.... — Here's how I see USDCAD, hope nobody minds, it's quite good to put my thoughts down as it helps me think it through, plus I might learn from others. As I've mentioned, I trade with 4 hour charts, looking at daily/weekly, ...

Hey Ultimatus I also like the oil chart on the 4 hour. My level is 99.50-100 using my patented precise charting technique called 'where did price previously take off like a scalded cat.' Dropping to 1 hour, there's a gap open in the midst of all that ...

Morning Ultimatus, I agree with you r.e. NFP price push, it's so strange how fx prices and their markets (that are controlled by large market making banks) seem to get pushed down to lows/highs before major news announcements. They then shoot in the ...

Kenneth, do you not see the 4hr demand level on the AUDUSD chart as too close for comfort, or is it simply because it's a scalp/short term trade with a small SL and you're not looking for a huge move to the downside?

Sorry if I'm posting too much-Kenneth/others-please let me know if I am-will start my own trade journal if so. After reading my own thoughts in response to USCHF I exited the trade at a small profit. The 4 hour trend is strong, and whilst it's ...

Am in to the USCHF short but I agree Osman, it is against the trend on the 4 hour and daily chart so certainly not a perfect trade. There are two strong legs on the 4 hour chart that have pushed price to these levels as well, but we shall see. I ...

Hey pickinpips If you read Kenneth's booklet again you'll see that the best trades occur on the first hit of those areas you have highlighted. As Sam Seiden explained, it's like having a visual stack of orders next to you-a lot of those will have ...

@ boubfax-aaaah I didn't know it was a different pair each time! I don't touch the yens-don't understand them, is high risk of govt intervention at any time, and they move in different sessions/different times so I leave them well alone.

As a guess, I'd say the first chart is a long term chart, and the second is a short term chart. The reason being, the SD levels are clearer and respected more often on the 1st chart! That's why I like the longer tfs. I'll look like a right ar*e if ...

Hi boubfax When I talk about noise, this is what I mean. If you have a 4 hour chart, and are marking out S/D levels on it, then you only have to look at the following tfs to ensure your SD levels are valid: Daily and Weekly (not even the weekly ...

Hi Tauru$ I know what you mean r.e. the lower level on EURUSD but there is a nice channel+TL on EURUSD as well so it does make sense for price to reverse round there. I'm on the sidelines and will wait and see... Nice channel on GBUSD as well but ...
