occamsrazors replied Jan 9, 2014EJ M5 Delayed Stochastic divergence doing what Alien says.... but H4 is still in a BBsqueeze and H1 is mixed [Edit M15 is long] Update: Mixed H1 and H4 meant the move only went 15 pips...ADX 89 and 144 rolled over as PA went down again

occamsrazors replied Jan 9, 2014Hindsight is a wonderful thing! I had an Alien 'aha' moment a short while ago on the RSIOMA divergence and its stuck in my mind ever since. But I was familiar with divergences before that and I am actively watching for them now. They are really good ...

occamsrazors replied Jan 9, 2014Yes the extra screens definitely do make life easier but I was still finding I was getting lost when scrolling through the profiles trying to remember what was important at that time on each pair (clearly one answer is to look at less pairs!). But ...

occamsrazors replied Jan 9, 2014I think that depends on what time frame you are trading jbegic. As Alien mentioned yesterday a trend retrace/reversal starts on a lower time frame and then continues up to the higher imeframes until it breaks again. Looking at the H4 you posted ...

occamsrazors replied Jan 9, 2014I had exactly the same problem jbegic, couldn't get vertical lines to remain when switching timeframes. I ended rebuilding the template from scratch and the problem went away, so don't know what was causing it.

occamsrazors replied Jan 9, 2014That's exactly what I do JPAdvisor, works well. I've got four screens and I use 3 MT4 platforms for charting (one for each screen) with 3 profiles on each and just scroll through as I scan pairs. I also setup a template for each TF with a little ...

occamsrazors replied Jan 9, 2014I feel the same Ferru, it's just a matter of being aware that a shallow completed Delayed Stoch move when watching live (say it drops and then turns above the 50 level and moves back up above 80), may look different on the chart 20 minutes later (ie ...

occamsrazors replied Jan 9, 2014It's still repainting now on the live chart and that's about 22 bars later. Also the DS cross has moved. You can also see on my first chart the DS cross back up occurred almost right on the London open line. On my last chart its a few bars later. I ...

occamsrazors replied Jan 9, 2014This chart has 80,50,20 levels on both the delayed Stoch and RSIOMA (I'm using the RSIOMA light version to save system resources, but I just checked that the normal RSIOMA prints the same ). The levels are all in exactly the same spot, they are ...

occamsrazors replied Jan 9, 2014Actually I lie....the DS has moved down even further now {Edit: nearly touching the 20]....interesting. ok let me leave it on both for a while and see what happens. [Edit: and both RSIOMA and DS 50 levels are in exactly the same spot on the chart]

occamsrazors replied Jan 9, 2014Good point Ferrufx the 50 level was on the RSIOMA. I've deleted it on the RSIOMA and put it on the Delayed stoch (used a black colour to confirm the 50 line is different). But the DS looks exactly the same.

occamsrazors replied Jan 9, 2014Just wondering if anyone else has noticed the Delayed Stochastic reprinting occasionally. On the EJ just now the Delayed Stoch slingshot when it was originally drawn (and had crossed back up) stayed above the 50 level, it was shallow. But checking ...

occamsrazors replied Jan 8, 2014Alien, do you mean the M15 Delayed stoch on the RSIOMA went into the 80 level before the move? On my chart the RSIOMA only hit the 80 level towards the end of the move. Interestingly my delayed stoch is a bit different to yours, it has dip back out ...
