Volume Leads Price - VSA and Wyckoff

The Hariprasath volume indicator is a nice variation of the TradingView volume indicator by the looks of things. The closest thing on MT4 (but different design) is the Better Volume indicator I think. Put them on a chart alongside each other and you ...

Naviafra I was looking at the chart on post 30 and noticed that the supply area you designated is actually part of a bigger supply zone from May 1. This helps explain why the price went above the supply zone on your chart on May 13. See the chart ...

Bydyke Look at the 5 min 26EMA (not the divs) - it is now making small higher highs and higher lows. But can the average break 1.31705, or will it continue lower? To go much lower the average has to break 1.31515.

yeah, know what you mean - I have always used the 34 LWMA, which funnily enough is almost the same as the 26EMA. But at the end of the day, they are all just lines so I will go with Alan's 26 EMA and how it matches the RSI 50 at the cross.

The 5M has now made a lower average high and a lower average low - will it fail to break the next level lower and reverse higher? Is that the question we need to ask ourselves Alan?

moving average convergence and divergence? Given the 1 SMA is a proxy for price I am guessing it is basically price/ema convergence for the impulse bar and price/ema divergence on a corrective bar.

The basic difference is that the EMA puts a greater weight on the most recent data points, whereas the simple moving average puts the same weight on each data point. So I am guessing that the EMA line will "move" faster (up or down) than the SMA on ...

David, on your H1 chart the prices for November 2018 seem to be missing. Your chart is different than mine as well

Lol. Yeah, brings back some memories. But Allan .... wasn’t a bob, the same as a shilling which was 12 pence. In NZ where I grew up they basically converted the shilling to 10 cents, and the florin became 20 cents and the half crown was 25 cents. ...
