Do you trade a break above the 10ema or do you leave a limit order and wait for a pullback to the 10ema? Also do you wait for price to close above/below the 10ema? Looking at live price action, do you have a limit order sitting above the 10ema like ...

I didn't take the trade but it would've been good for a quick 20 pips already.

This is a pivot indicator but also shows yH and yL if you edit the inputs. You can also change the start and end times by editing the hours from GMT option. You just have to change the inputs to get it exactly how you want it. You could even ignore ...

Textbook short on E/U. Needs to clear a bit more support before confirmation. Also late Friday is not the best time to trade.

I think I can see your thinking. Bounce off of ADR low and close above 10EMA. Price is not bouncing off of a RN though. Maybe a CT trade in the direction of the RN for a 10 pip scalp?

Nice trade. Not a textbook trade (above 200EMA) but good analysis. A lot of EMA, pivot point and fib support coming up now.

There are a few pivot point indicators. That one I showed you above is called the Auto-Pivot Plotter. It shows historical pivots but gets the Monday pivot wrong so I prefer to use the THV4 pivot indicator (daily, weekly and monthly).

Here's an example of the significance of the daily pivot in the past two trading sessions.

That's the way I trade too, but I have noticed that the price will usually touch the daily pivot at least once during the day so if the price opens away from the pivot, there is a high chance it will come back and touch it before making its next ...

I forgot about the RN. Maybe if GBP/USD gets to 1.5750 it's ready for the CT trade when it closes below the 10 EMA.

Anyone brave enough to take this CT? I'm not going to myself but I'm trying to get into CT trading. What do you think of my analysis?

I don't usually take them because I can't time them correctly. I have noticed that early in the NY session there is one final push in the direction of the London trend then at least a small (sometimes a total) reversal. Having booked profits by ...

Goochie, I was about to post my chart then saw you took the same trade. Anyway, here's my take on it.

Here's a tip Pacific - 'Don't predict - react!' It seems you were trying to predict what the market might do instead of reacting to what it actually did. I can't see any reason to go long there (maybe you saw a good risk:reward trade there).

Has everyone stopped using the synergy bars? I personally don't like them because you can't see the candlestick reversal bars clearly and it seems nobody here is using them now.

I added it to my chart but the 200EMAs are not showing.

This system works very well with pivot points (I suppose pivot points help all systems) but I don't know if loveevery1 considers them.

Same here - the java platform works fine though. Disgraceful - and all the customer service reps are busy. Edit: just got reconnected. 25 minute downtime after important news.

Binnie, the basic set-up is the one on the first page. If you look at the main currency pairs you should find at least one set-up per day. However, Loveevery1 is a discretionary trader who takes other trades based on price action. He has said ...
