Seneca pilot replied Feb 15, 2013I don't really know, that's why the struggle. Anybody trading this knows how profitable it is. I didn't start a system thread so nothing to prove. I guess because I would never post my trade reports from my main account on a public forum. I will ...

Seneca pilot replied Feb 15, 2013Sometimes this happens with intraday trades. You will get for example a daily open trade where price goes twenty pips in your favor the quickly retraces back and takes out your stop. In most cases when this happens you can reverse direction and get ...

Seneca pilot replied Feb 15, 2013Well that didn't go as well as I would have liked. It was pretty obvious as London unfolded that the yen pairs are still driving the bus. The Thursday low held on EU so I had to exit with about twenty eight average pips (35 on highest entry and 21 ...

Seneca pilot replied Feb 14, 2013Glad you started this. I would add that not only is large drawdown a sign of problems but very large outsize profits are also a sign of possible trouble ahead. If you are gaining forty percent in a week you can lose just as quickly.

Seneca pilot replied Feb 14, 2013I want to come back and say something about this trade. This is the proper way to trade price action bars. Notice Xhale got a nice engulfing right at a high probability area we have identified. All the other pins, engulfings, inside bars, and other ...

Seneca pilot replied Feb 14, 2013Yeah I'm not sure we're going to make 36. I almost posted about the blue being weekly low and stronger than the open/close but I want to be careful not to impact the trading decisions you guys make. Everybody has to find their own way. It is always ...

Seneca pilot replied Feb 14, 2013Last week price closed very near the bottom of the range and we have now broken it to the south this week. Price hasn't even been able to rally to the close from last week yet. I don't see demand here but I don't always win on every trade. No matter ...

Seneca pilot replied Feb 13, 2013I ignore Seiden levels usually. Occasionally I will take profit at one that i think will be particularly strong. I will always trade the daily highs and lows no matter where a Seiden level is. Once in a while I will miss an entry because a Seiden ...

Seneca pilot replied Feb 13, 2013What I do is basically the same. The problem with the Seiden levels is simply that there are too many of them. Essentially I am trading three levels every day with the occasional extra level when we are around a weekly high, low, open, or close. The ...

Seneca pilot replied Feb 13, 2013The Sam Seiden levels definately work. I looked hard at it and traded on it for a while. What I found is that I enter at a level within the box. The Seiden traders enter at the edge of the box. Price action/candle traders trade at the break of a bar ...

Seneca pilot replied Feb 13, 2013You can see from all the charts I have posted regarding weekly levels that that price is key. GJ could stay below it the rest of the week. Could be another trade of the week.
