ha-pattern replied Sep 22, 2010demo — I share this trait. It's kind of a 1'TF-only trader thing. The reason for the apparent nonsense, at least as I can figure now, is to narrow in on one easy way to capture any move: Easy, because the 1' limits one's attention to a tiny ...

ha-pattern replied Sep 21, 2010Yes. The higher win ratios is a good point, too. I often take one reason off the 1' and go through DD for trade, because of the precision available.

ha-pattern replied Sep 21, 2010demo — (Aargh...) 1'TF is good for any run, is simple enough just before and during the trade if you put in the effort between trades, and is logical because there's more data. MTF is tough from one TF and, I believe, defeatable.

ha-pattern replied Sep 21, 2010demo —
That's a good one. What you can't program, you can't believe. It's only logical the 1'TF works better, since it has more data. Perspective on a single, low TF is just, well, tougher. A weak spot, to be sure. Get up close when the ...No more BS - What have you learned?

ha-pattern replied Sep 21, 2010Realizing after the fact this trade was too close for comfort, I see a need for my brain to 'bounce off' concepts, conditions, etc., more than I suspected. That is, my exit was too high. I also could have used an extra reason to lower the entry ...

ha-pattern replied Sep 21, 2010While of course the last poster is right, it can also be fun to guess. Here's my input, from a speedy glance and which doesn't project anything: image That top level does look awfully solid, though, to flip up and over the same distance. On the ...

ha-pattern replied Sep 20, 2010demo — Nice thread. "LEARN TO DEAL WITH UNCERTAINLY INSTEAD OF SEARCHING FOR CERTAINLY. RISK!" I'd rather search for certainty, to get it over with. Then, there's less uncertainty within myself about how much I can possibly know about the ...

ha-pattern replied Sep 18, 2010demo — A TL set is angle->pattern->TL set An angle is all-important and difficult to define; a pattern is easy to define and difficult to rank in importance; and, TL's are either difficult to define and rank in importance, or easy on both, ...
