Agree 100%. The issue is, without a doubt, the addictive nature of gambling. Just like an alcoholic, drug addict, they cannot put it down. With trading, the "high" is winning and people will keep chasing that high. However, on the flip side, albeit ...

The amount of scammers in the world, especially in the trading space, is astounding. Everyone really over complicates things as well.......trading, as with any type of statistic/probabilty gambling....ie poker, sports betting, etc, truly comes down ...

Darwin back in biz....finished calibration last Friday....will receive allocation for Feb....will add the 100K , goal to hit 5% within 2 months, so I will have 2 separate payouts every quarter. image

Very true. However, that 5% could also be 7,8 or 9% in your Darwin. My last risk engine hovered around 1.35 until I screwed up. My current one is 1.48. The entire point of Darwin, IMO, is responsible trading and risk...if you are trading ...

Yes, and if you can buy 100K with no limits, you can have 10 for a million AUM. Every 100K with a 15% performance fee is like a personal 15K account. Even counting the time (@2.5% per month) it takes to hit the 5%, you are green in 4 months. Manage ...

TBH, I would suggest MES and MYM, NAS is sometimes wild, as is Gold. I always look for set ups on those 2 first. S&P is a much broader index, NAS is way too tech dependent....just my opinion.

Futures is pretty simple....minis are 10 micros MYM (DOW) micro is 50cents, mini $5 MNQ (NAS), micro is $2, mini is $20, 4 ticks to a point, so 50 cents per tick MES (S&P), micro is $5, mini is $50, 4 ticks to a point, so $1.25 per tick drop the M ...

This is the answer I got...... Permanent allocations are not directly subject to correlation requirements. However, correlation is an important factor when creating a portfolio of DARWINs, as it affects diversification. Permanent allocations are ...

Are the permanent allocations subject to the correlation rule? If not, you could have 10 totalling a million and copy trade. The way I understand is correlation only affects your allocations not your performance fee, correct? I still use the props ...

Nice work. As I posted earlier this month, I stupidly over risked and blew up my 90K account. Was chugging right along at 2-2.5% per month and got a wild hair up my ass. Started a new one 1/6 and completed Friday, starting with a score of 72 and ...

Just wow......it is no big surprise why 95% of traders fail. You are joking, right? Not sure which is worse......not knowing these things are available OR attempting and purchasing a futures eval without knowing how to use them.

Agreed. I've posted several times not to use the futures props coming from CFD, other than My Funded Futures......Matt is on it on the futures side. Offerings are great, payouts in minutes.

I believe you will be paid as you did not violate any rules. The delay in payouts blantantly displays cash flow issues.

Well, the no hedging is a CFTC thing, just like FIFO. Not 100%, but I would assume their non US clients may hedge.

Well, they play tricks in their regular broker accounts, so I would assume as bad or worse with their prop offering. Of course, the broker side gets away with it BECAUSE they are regulated by the clueless CFTC.

Yes, TickTick is falling further down my list for sure. With several firms paying within hours, there is absolutely no excuse to be waiting more than 24 hours in today's world.
