I was going to trade the Asian session but managed to get quite a few pips before that so will go to bed instead
There was a nice bullish breakout of a channel on m15 on EN, didn't even have time to move to breakeven and it had hit my 50 pip take ...Trading Made Simple

Thank you Bizzle, I was looking for those everywhere
According to this video: url he is going from high to high and low to low he doesn't mention the close at all.Trading Made Simple

I've read that before but it must be a bit time consuming to do if you only use synergy bars as you can't see the close of the candle normally, also we are not really looking at the rsi we are looking at moving averages of the rsi. Ive tried looking ...

Nothing tells you when that particular trend is going to come to an end, it had gone quite a distance against the long term trend anyway, but you took far too long to kill the trade. Look at the price action telling you it was probably turning ...

I entered on H1, on my H4 chart, it had crossed at 8:00 when the new candle opened.

Just saw this part of your post. The difference between the mini retracements and this one was on the H4 chart, no real sense that the H4 was ready to turn yet, yesterday it looked like it could cross but the red was still rising steeply, by the ...

I couldn't agree more thats why you need to have faith in the decision you've made and have firm exit parameters. I do find I make less mistakes if I look at H4 as well as H1, short of being as brilliant as phx62 I treat it as my "training wheels" ...

Look at the difference between the trade you took today and the ones in the previous days. Look at the h4, both tdi and candles and you will see why those were mini retracements and this was a decent one. Until the trade I took this morning, using ...

There is nothing in my book wrong with taking CT trades as long as everything looks ready for it, strong s/r, maybe divergence, next timeframe up looking like it could turn etc etc, the time when a CT trade should not be taken is when the only thing ...

Your nzd/jpy trade was taken way above the mbl, ej 1hr trade I took had crossed over the mbl, the next timeframe up had crossed down, your next timeframe up is still strongly up, there are quite a few differences with the tdi even if you don't take ...

I would also suggest you put the market baseline in the indicator on your chart, don't take any trades that are not above/below the mbl. In the case of aud/nzd trade....it hasn't lost yet

What looks like an inverted hammer on Goochie's chart isn't actually an inverted hammer in the strictest sense of the term. Because he is using HA/synergy bars (not sure which) it looks like it because the real close price is hidden, BUT there was ...

As I understand it, Xaphod is saying the TDI doesn't just not move on the current bar he's saying it repaints its history by when you refresh the chart it looks like the TDI crossed earlier than it actually did and that is a problem when ...

This is the one of the tdi's that repaint the past, it is also called tdi red green but it does not show as tdi_rt in the mt4 window. Anything that is called real time moves with the bar so does not repaint.

- lastingwell replied Dec 7, 2013
I agree it doesn't repaint after the candle has closed my point was with newer traders they will open their chart half way through an h1 or h4 candle, see the tdi_rt has crossed and it might have only just crossed up, it might not have been there at ...

Good post
I also agree especially with traders new to the TDI they should not use the TDI_RT its too tempting to go in half way through a candle because its crossed over in realtime only to find at the beginning of the next candle its uncrossed ...Trading Made Simple
