mizuno replied Oct 25, 2010It strongly reminds me of the picture when I applied 18.4 on intraday EUR/USD on April 13th. Don't remember what the ADR was back then. image image

mizuno replied Oct 25, 2010And the next possible level to sell EUR/USD after the possible diamond gets broken upwards would be the top border of the possible intradecade wedge. That's a bit of a problem with the current charting tools that I have. image

mizuno replied Oct 25, 2010Interesting development with EUR/USD. The two descending borders of a possible diamond are almost completely parallel. Now the thing to guess is if it will make the same thing with the ascending lower border. Safest thing as of now is to wait until ...

mizuno replied Oct 25, 2010My GBPUSD long started off well, but now the price seems to be turning around. I have three options right now: 1) Take the profit and run, something that would be an impulsive action 2) put the SL at BE and let it run 3) Leave the SL where it is and ...

mizuno replied Oct 24, 2010GBP/USD seems to have formed a triangle like formation. It is not a true triangle but I'm trading it as one for the sake of simplicity. There is a divergence pointing to 1.58279; I'm using it as my buy TP. Stop at 1.56596. Reverse sell at 1.56472, ...

mizuno replied Oct 22, 2010Looks like there's a possibility of EUR/USD turning into a diamond. It seems I cannot project the right hand side of the triangle with the current lows/highs. It's a long shot as of now but let's see if anything will form out of this. image Also ...

mizuno replied Oct 21, 2010MMOW - Main Move Of the Week MMOM - Main Move Of the Month As for a divergence, there are some nice examples in Igrok's book "Beat the Odds", page 60. If you don't have it yet then I strongly suggest to get it first, read it, read the thread, then ...

mizuno replied Oct 21, 2010Thanks for your insight, Belekas. No problem! Thanks should go to Vaflis and Belekas too, as they started the discussion about these setups. What a beautiful trading idea this is. I can only wonder why the past me paid little attention to the 18.4 ...

mizuno replied Oct 21, 2010Interesting picture with yearly EUR/GBP. It just made a third touch on a descending resistive trendline, which is a top border of a possible wedge. I dislike the first point of the bottom border, I think it's not technically valid. I'm not sure if I ...

mizuno replied Oct 21, 2010Made a critical mistake with my EUR/GBP trade. My 0.881 reverse stop level was rendered useless (this is what I thought) as I saw the price going in favour of my trade, and I removed the reverse order just before going to bed. Lesson learned. image

mizuno replied Oct 21, 2010There wouldn't be a need to go back in history because I posted the charts. I often see members talk about a trading idea without posting charts. When you read this 1-2 years in the future, and want to see what they were talking about, it can be ...

mizuno replied Oct 20, 2010Just went short on EUR/GBP, and here's my reasoning. We seem to have one border of a possible triangle fully formed, as it has three touches. Now the bottom border does not offer that good R:R, so I'm not going to use it as a target. Another reason ...

mizuno replied Oct 20, 2010I'm at a loss what to do with USD/JPY. It has a support with 4 touches, but at the same time the support is providing an opportunity to enter on weekly 18.4. I guess it's best to stay aside for now. If the support gets broken then I have an order at ...
