Failure to break 3550. Shorts have gotten their wish.

Setting up nicely for a run back towards 3550 and news at 10 for catalyst for an attempt to break that level to the upside.

Looking at my chart I do see quite a few resistance areas even if we break 3550, but a break above this level should be worrying to those who expect a quick turnaround.

Yeah no guarantee of a break, but all the classic signs are there. Clearing up supply at that area with several upmoves at that area, then a nice trap move to get traders locked in after it broke it's previous low.

If 3550 is broken to the upside, things get quite a bit murky. Lots of congestion from 3600 to 3700.

35 pips on the line for what should be at least a 130 pip return. No worries.

That's a 5 min chart though, and it did signal a pullback short term, but the hour is signaling a rise imo. 3550 area would be the likely first area of resistance.

It's a counter trend trade for sure, but have seen enough to be convinced. This is definitely not an area to enter short imo or add to shorts.

3550 should be in the cards now.

If we see a close at the highs at the end of this hour, and strength at the close of the next hour then another run at 3550 is very likely. A lot of ifs remain though, and yeah, that wouldn't signal a reversal either.

Very good analysis. If this is redistribution, I'd imagine to see a break to the upside of that range and an upthrust to confirm that's what's happening.
