I am not sure that I see what signal bar led you into this trade. I am aware of Double High Lower Close (dhlc) and Double Low Higher Close (dlhc), but this seems like neither.

I have difficulty believeing that deep down you are seeing that all of this is happenstance or coincidence. On a surface level I most definitely believe that you concience is questioning if you finally have the keys to be a successful trader. Do you ...

Hey there Thermo. I saw that Mike had already responded just below, but just wanted to throw out my .02 before I read his response. When trading IBs (which is not very often) I always look at the previous bar that is encompasing them. The other big ...

Don't usually go down on TF, but this one occured while I was asleep last night. Talk about one beautiful breakout and retrace that offered a great BEOB. Been watching this chart (USDSGD) religously for about 3 weeks now for a breakout up or down, ...

Ha ha love it when I see something that Mike is seeing as well
Though this was not a true BEOB (didn't fully encompass the prev low) I really liked it. Guess it could be considered a DLHC off of a BRN though. The real key to it for me was the ...james16 Chart Thread

Not trying to be to a smart ass. Just answering this as I see it. Gold does have moves of $1 or the equiv. of 100 pips very quickly. This is because it has an ATR that is 9 times larger than EURNOK. It more than likely did move 100 pips that quickly ...

Hey there DK. I do have it open. For me it says: Buy 7.71361 and Sell 7.70361 For me this is 100 pips and the ATR is 500 pips. If you want to call that 1 pip then the ATR would only be 5 pips. Either way on this trade when I place it the spread will ...

This is the one that I am looking at today. Most of the NOK pairs are at the bottom of their respective consolidation boxes. So this one is EURNOK. Things I like: -Each time that this has made a new low in the current box we have gone on to have ...

Not in love with this for several reasons, but the biggest would have been the inability of the bar to close above the 125 BRN. On lower TF I am even more picky with my trades than on higher TF. My thoughts are that there are 6x more 4hr bars than ...

While this one is a good example I would just toss out there that bars that are this large took a while for me to become proficent with. If you look at this one it was so large that it actually went from the swing high down to a swing low. My issue ...

ha ha pretty sure that I remember that one... IIRC it was a pass for me due to closing above that area of support just behind it. When you see a swing high on a sell it makes sense. It will be a clearly higher area that has a decent amount of space ...

I was looking at this too as it shows a spread of 100 on FXPro demo, but it also moved 1000 pips on the day of the BEOB. While 10% (or 4% w/ your spread) would be a higher spread it is not unreasonable to think about paying for the right bar. Ryan
