Old fiber is getting closer and closer to 1.29. I wonder if it will hold. Things should get interesting in Asia, once Japan comes back from holidays.

I wasn't aware that the UK, China, and Japan were on holidays. Thanks for the heads up. I guess Japan is on holiday the following day as well. Thanks again.

What's up Malcomb? Yeah, it was me. I was over on the Auslanco thread because a poster said the following: "Lots of reasons for that: commodity currency, soundness of banking sector, sane real estate prices, and no occurring/predictable bubbles, ...

What are you talking about? That's exactly the point I'm trying to make. I'm in full agreement with you.

Good Grief — I was trying to make a joke. The United States (US) + United Kingdom (UK) = USUK or You Suck. I apologize for the confusion.

Not much here. Yeah, I wouldn't dare short it for long. Maybe down to 91.50 and that isn't even worth the stress. If 91.50 doesn't hold, then 90.50 may come into play. I'm bearish USD/Yen though. I got this gut feeling that Uncle Buck and the Yen ...

This guy here does a pretty good job on his blog laying it all out: The Country of Fiscal Prudence "Canada. The land of the strong and free. The land of fiscal prudence. Or so we have been told." I apologize for hijacking the thread, but I get tired ...

Garth Turner and Danielle Park have been writing about the Canadian housing bubble for quite some time. The majority of the mortgages that have been given the last few years are backed by CMHC (ala Fannie & Freddie). The banks had no problem giving ...

Haven't posted on this thread for some time, but still lurk quite often. Yes the Canadian dollar is strong, but the fundamentals you list are far from the truth. Sane real estate prices, safe banks, and no bubbles you say? I don't think so. The ...

Forget the PIIGS How About Us+uk=usuk — Here's another pair that seems pretty bearish to me. That weak doji on the monthly feels like profit taking to me and the April candle confirms that thought. On the weekly, it looks like the retrace to ...

The Mothership — I'm sitting here glancing over the monthly, weekly, and daily charts of USD/JPY. That 94.50 area has been rejected again. I would not be surprised if we see that 93 area get tested again. If it doesn't hold, than 91.50 could ...

It is pretty pathetic. Piece of garbage couldn't even retrace to 1.38. Get out of the way bulls and let the bear train make its way to 1.29 and then onto 1.25. This monthly posturing is getting ridiculous.
