Seneca pilot replied Mar 8, 2013I just exited with 27 pips. If any of you sold at yesterday's high and held for the NFP drop I would love to see it. I was asleep when it turned around. I actually lever up a little on these NFP trades so 27 pips was a nice day.

Seneca pilot replied Mar 7, 2013I can't find the post where I described the NFP strategy either. Here it is, very simple. The report comes out at 08:30 eastern 13:30 GMT. The fifteen minute bar from 13:30 to 13:45 is our focus. If the next bar (13:45 to 14:00) is an inside bar ...

Seneca pilot replied Mar 7, 2013The spread on EJ is not big and it trades very nicely during European and London trading. My spreads on EJ are typically only half a pip larger than EU.

Seneca pilot replied Mar 7, 2013Five to fifteen is an ideal but not a requirement. I would get nervous above fifty or sixty because a complete retracement that big could mean a fundamental change. The only real hard and fast rule I stick to is not entering a position after London ...

Seneca pilot replied Mar 7, 2013EU and EJ have been sweet for several weeks now. I can't really see any good reasons to get into any other pairs. Did you see the great move on EJ today? Textbook daily open entry.

Seneca pilot replied Mar 7, 2013GU has always been a little harder to trade for me. The rumors right now are that Soros and the BOE are battling again so not a pair I want to get involved in right now.

Seneca pilot replied Mar 7, 2013The London breakout candle wasn't really that big only about 38 pips. It just looked really big because of the puny range this week.

Seneca pilot replied Mar 7, 2013The green line on that chart is My daily open. If it lines up with London close that is great, another supporting factor. I have only been trading EU for the past two weeks trying out my friend's method. I haven't really looked at any other pairs. I ...

Seneca pilot replied Mar 7, 2013If the last week low had been hit during normal market times I would have taken it without hesitation. I may have to look at this as it was certainly a good entry in hindsight. I don't like taking trades at the market close, however trading for ...
