Strongly disagree, but to each his own. I'm looking for at least 1:3r per trade and no matter how dead the markets are, there would usually be more than 2-3 set ups daily. Strategies differ in what they offer.

Lol i think you're generalizing 'us" a bit too much. Some traders thrive better during times of low volatility, but yeah, there has to be some direction as least.... doesn't have to be much or strong. These spikes really just mess my plans up ...
