Starry replied Jan 14, 2013heres an example where it breaks a prz zone, then pierces the 88.6 line (change of orderflow), then it retests the broken prz zone and then goes up. edit: woops i think the prz is wrong. it didnt quite retrace to 0.382 so it would be a longer bc ...

Starry replied Jan 14, 2013Lets see, heres a case for entering a GBPJPY trade that would have presented itself during my trading hours. This is after the fact, but i dont think im pattern fitting in this case based on future data. What do you think? I dont know how i would ...

Starry replied Jan 14, 2013Mr pip, Have you found that you can achieve tighter stop losses if you wait for price rejection? I was reading the book, for example, and it says that for AB = CD patterns that retrace to 0.618, you should look for price action in the 1.618 BC ...

Starry replied Jan 13, 2013Im going to start tuesday trading gbpjpy and i think price action analysis would complement the ABCD trades weve already learned. So would learning the graceful way of exiting. Any way, well eventually get to it all so im not too worried either way.

Starry replied Jan 12, 2013Yeah i guess price jumps around too much for indicators and such!
Symphonie Trader System

Starry replied Jan 12, 2013I haven't traded symphony, but im planning on trading 2 hours a day on gbpjpy 1 minute, 5 minute frames. Thats another option if you dont have alot of time, since gbpjpy moves a nice bit at pretty much every hour.

Starry replied Jan 12, 2013Mr pip, Are there certain reversal patterns that you look for in the PRZ before entering? Or do you just enter? For example, heres GBJPY on the 1 minute timeframe. It spiked down and had long wicks up, then it went up and had one bar which had a ...

Starry replied Jan 11, 2013Does anyone trade GBPJPY on the 1 minute timeframe using harmonics? It seems like a good timeframe and currency if you have limited time to trade (like 2 hours or so)

Starry replied Jan 10, 2013Then again, i might focus on gbpjpy on the 1 minute timeframe, since i have only 2 hours or so to trade right now and thats the only currency that moves enough pips on such small timeframe.

Starry replied Jan 10, 2013I wonder if this is going to break up or down. We have a concave down curve and a spinning top + shooting star, but its still rather flat. Probably should wait for a lower high. It also sort of looks like a constrainment up for eurusd, but i wouldnt ...

Starry replied Jan 10, 2013And when its about to go down, it sometimes forms a hammer and a spinning top or often a shooting star. Again , the hammer is testing resistance, rather than saying it will go up, you have to look at the surrounding curves to determine what should ...

Starry replied Jan 10, 2013This would be a dangerous short. Theres a concave up curve, plus long wicks to the upside mean its repeatedly testing resistance and it could be about to break. For a short i would wait for another retrace with a lower high or equal high in my ...

Starry replied Jan 10, 2013Im trying to combine harmonics with dance. For example, on december 17 , it traded within a 20 pip range and there was tons of ABCD patterns. I dont think dance wouldve worked here, you wouldve probably have stayed out cause of the porcupine. Maybe ...

Starry replied Jan 9, 2013Mr pip, What stoploss amount above the 161.8 line do you use when you trade the tick chart? Since the 10 pip above the 161.8 for the ABCD pattern is for the 1 hour timeframe.
