If your question is how to trade currency futures through CME, just sign up an any futures broker such as MB Trading, Mirus Futures, Infinity Futures, etc. Margin is low for intraday trading (around $1000) to trade currency futures.

Can you trade on the CME as a non-member?

there are some good threads on this already here in the forum. They all have died. Any opportunity like that will be because of broker and technical issues and your account will get suspended for trying this.

Thanks for sharing. This should be easy to code as an EA to run backtests. My feeling is that it wont be profitable in the long run as most breakout systems seem to run into large drawdown.

For swing trading platforms should not matter. I would focus most on customer support and finding a broker that you trust to be around in 10+ years. FXCM is okay for this but not ideal. I would just stick with them if you are happy.
