Example (GBPUSD): The signal line has crossed the main trend line. I did not take that trade because the trend line was not broken. Keeping in mind the trend line will save you a lot of pips. If price broke that trend line with an impulsive move, ...

You can try. I'd try 4hour signal line with daily as your main trend.

Another example: This example is to show the use of trend lines for confirmation. We could've entered at the cross of the signal and main trend (higher risk, higher reward) OR we could've bought at the break of the trend line (circle). You can also ...

No problem
The signal is already at 1hour and the main trend is at 4hour. So just keep your chart on the 1hour to see both oscillators work together. You can also just trade the main trend 4hour if you want.(binned per thread starter's request) Schaff Trend Cycle

An example of adding to your position. In the attachment below we can see the main trend is bearish, we don't buy against the main trend, we add to our position every time the signal line trend shows a sell.

The dotted line is the signal line. The solid line is the main trend. Do not trade against the main trend unless the two lines intersect. Once you're in a trade that is signalled off the main trend line, then you can add to your position when the ...

The 1 hour timeframe on the indicator is used as a signal line (dotted line). The 4 hour timeframe on the indicator is used as the main trend (solid line). There is a few ways you can trade this. 1. You can place a trade when the signal line crosses ...

Hi, The Renko bars aren't automatically printing the next bar. I have to go to the online chart and reload the expert for the Renko bricks to paint the next bar. Is this normal because it's an offline chart? Thanks.
