Today LWMA was best: Basket 1 (EMA): +61 / - 25.9 pips Basket 2 (SMA): +49 / -184 pips Basket 3 (LWMA): +234.5 / -73 pips. I will try and log the basket values daily and see how it goes. Maybe there is a pattern we can exploit.

Yes, same indicator and EA settings. I found out fxopen sometimes does not open trades correctly (Error 0) which could be the issue. Now I'll retry at Darwinex, although leverage is capped at 20 for non-majors. (argh!!).

0800 gmt Basket 1 (EMA): +15.2 / - 164.5 pips Basket 2 (SMA): +171.9 / -86.2 pips Basket 3 (LWMA): 5.7 / -144.4 pips. Total has still not reached +150 pips. SMA looks best, agreed.

I got the 3 x CMSM on 1 chart and a lot of trade suggestions (> 15) but the EA opened only 9 trades. Any hints? EDIT: (1 CMSM on 1 chart) x 3 works.
