Once a tax gets put in place, it becomes an "acceptable tax" and can be raised to 0.5%, 0.75% with little or no difficulty. Look at sales taxes, postal rates, etc. as examples. So yes it is a big deal.

I completely disagree. There is nothing wrong with looking into what you actually have to do to cover spreads and make money in this business. You can't have $ without pips.
