jpnavigate replied Nov 12, 2014My take on the market I liken the market to a great real-life lesson of Economics 101. It is beautiful and, sometimes, frustrating to watch the forces of supply and demand in constant action. Thus, I do not believe the market is random. The market ...

jpnavigate replied Nov 6, 2014I don't have a chart for you to look at, but I was trying to trade the EURUSD around 7:30 this morning. Mr. Pip talks about situational awareness; well, I should have taken a look at the calendar. I got in a long position and was immediately ...

jpnavigate replied Nov 6, 2014The main swing is from 9,325 to 9,265. Looks like price retraced close to the 61.8%. Recognizing that the predominant trend is bearish, you should trade in the same direction. Therefore, any bearish reaction near the 61.8% is a good opportunity to ...

jpnavigate replied Nov 5, 2014Excellent. So, as part of your own development, did the emphasis on Harmonics and Fib ratios help direct your price action education? From the first post in this thread to now, it seems like your approach evolved...true?

jpnavigate replied Nov 5, 2014You really seem to have an intimate familiarity with market dynamics and price action. Would you say that your primary trading approach is purely price action and the 1-to-1's, ABCDs, AB=CD stuff is supplemental?

jpnavigate replied Nov 5, 2014Posting and chatting about what you're seeing on your charts definitely contributes to the education of the overall group. I would urge you to focus more on the price action (PA) rather than the patterns you're seeing or not seeing. Keep up the good ...

jpnavigate replied Nov 4, 2014Have you discovered the FIB Extension tool yet? Add the FIB Extension measurement of the AB leg to see if the 1-to-1 completion coincides with the 127.2 extension. Just looking at your chart, I would say that it does. Also, you have structure ...

jpnavigate replied Nov 4, 2014Might have a Gartley forming. Where's your PRZ? And, what other confluence do you see happening around that area?

jpnavigate replied Nov 4, 2014I'll wait for Mr. Pip to comment on the LL; however, while reading this entire thread, have you come across the trading rules? I have to keep refreshing my memory on those. Anyway, you don't know whether or not you have have an XA leg until Point ...

jpnavigate replied Nov 4, 2014Looks like you drew your FIB Retracement incorrectly. The percentages are flip-flopped. The retracement of the main swing is more like 38.2% vs. 61.8%. That ruined the rest of your pattern.

jpnavigate replied Oct 31, 2014Personally, I haven't given up; however, I would say that I suffer from distraction. I believe that I am on the edge of grasping everything that you teach, but am focused more on the destination rather than enjoying the journey...or, paying the ...

jpnavigate replied Oct 31, 2014Typically, you will see that type of head and shoulders pattern form at the top of an uptrend, not the bottom of a downtrend. From a price action standpoint; however, it will be interesting to see how price reacts to the low formed around 10/2 or ...

jpnavigate replied Oct 1, 2014You need to develop a better understanding of price action (i.e. based on the current momentum, where is price likely to go?). A great video to reference is by Damian Castilla on youtube, located here: url Based on the momentum, look for price to ...
