Darastonius replied May 4, 2017I'm targeting 20-30-40 pip moves intraday. About a year ago these took somewhere between 1-3 hours to play out between my entry and exit. Now at least the triple of that, and quite often i just have to hold it over night or even more. Also it is ...
What has happened to volatility

Darastonius replied May 2, 2017Yeah, so by now, pretty much we are very close to the level of the lowest volatility in history. F@cking awesome. I wonder what will make this crap start moving?
Forex Volatility is Dead?

Darastonius replied May 2, 2017I know that bullish news are usually bearish and bearish news have mostly bullish effect in the long run. The public doesn't know this, for them it was a sure thing indeed. They are happily sitting in short at the edge of the chart now in DD. For ...
The public will never get a "good deal" in the markets

Darastonius replied May 2, 2017Okay, here is another example. Do you guys see that big ass gap on EU? Do you know why it didnt fill yet, also why it is hesitant to do so? Because the herd sees it too and they are mainly short. Just look at the positions on FF, I know it only ...

Darastonius replied May 1, 2017Even if you have a trustworthy broker, nothing can't be done about stop hunting (except maybe taking advantage of it
), because the market itself goes for levels, where stops are congregating. Then of course there are shady brokers, who like ...Do you believe brokers hunt your stoploss

Darastonius replied Apr 15, 2017In my opinion you are looking for too much confirmation, thus missing opportunities. This is called speculation for a reason. The first picture is marked good. Both zones are clear, but be aware, that the move was much quicker coming out from the ...
Supply demand trading and order flow
-
Darastonius replied Apr 13, 2017If price is shooting up, that's not good anyway, because the upswing is coming from professional demand. A good short is, when the zone has a large and quick downmove coming down from it, then as price retraces, it is grinding up slowly. Timeframes ...
Supply demand trading and order flow
-
Darastonius replied Apr 10, 2017No, only maybe a very few of them. Because most traders already took profits as the market came down. See the problem with the majority of retail traders regarding supply and demand trading is, that they turn the whole thing into top and bottom ...

Darastonius replied Mar 24, 2017With that money no sane person would trade forex. He would go to centralised markets, where properly regulated brokers are, currency futures, stocks, etc.
At what lot size/account size do you have scale issues?
-
Darastonius replied Mar 24, 2017Depending on your broker, somewhere between 10 and 30 lots. You can reduce the slippage, if you buy on downmoves and sell on upmoves. Below that lotsize, if you don't trade during illiquid periods, slippage shouldn't be really a problem.

Darastonius replied Mar 16, 2017Ummm, I'm not sure what you are talking about, but okay. I haven't lost a position, and don't blame anybody. I can trade in lockstep with the smart money.
The public will never get a "good deal" in the markets
-
Darastonius replied Mar 16, 2017Not always. 1. When they lose, they lose better. Closing losses early, letting winners run, that's why they are pros. 2. They have access to an order book, they can see everything what other professionals and the public is doing without actually ...
The public will never get a "good deal" in the markets

Darastonius replied Mar 15, 2017Exactly, they priced in the lower dollar. Even if they want to take it higher in the future, first they will squeeze the dollar longs, then possibly get them short, and when the majority is like: "well somehow it is bearish, i'm going short on the ...

Darastonius replied Nov 28, 2016I know you love your zones, and happy that they put you on the short side. But in VSA and in Wyckoff for a proper short (in this timeframe), in an uptrend you need a distribution sequence, which you clearly don't have here. In fact you have a ...

Darastonius replied Nov 28, 2016If you trade M5/M15/M30/H1 timeframes and you are at the moment of the red vertical line, there is no way for you to tell that an H4/D1 supply train will come in hard, and that the marked area is not reaccumulation. Yeah, it is a bigger upthrust, ...

Darastonius replied Nov 28, 2016They got me in BE on GU. This was either an upthrust on a bigger scale and this is supply, in that case GU is bearish, or this is a shakeout, then it is bullish. We'll see how it reacts to this, probably it will be clear by tomorrow.
