I guess a reason you might not be getting the response you wanted is you're not including more details. It's simple, sure -- if the previous day is long, go long; if short, go short with tp and sl of 200, blah, blah -- nothing new. But people might ...

The old versions of firebird already had magics, just not as an extern. The rule long ago was to trade it on several pairs, and it had to have magics to do that. I'm sure the version samurai posted with the traderseven suffix has magics already. ...

Samurai, your tp 50 or 100? I've seen both mentioned. Interesting to see firebird again. I traded this years ago in various forms. Directional is best, but 40 pipstep can be too small sometimes.

That 3000 sl is probably a 5 digit conversion that equals 300. Likewise tp is probably 50.

So on this long term one, your 382 trade hit sl and now you're short from 618, and will reverse at 382 of current fib?

For your target, do you place your trailing stop from the first pip or after a certain amount reached?

I agree with JT. If you're martingaling, then sure the 618 makes sense with 2 trades. But if lot sizes are the same for both the 382 and 618 trade, then I have the same questions as JT.

v10 on M5, I'm seeing the sl being constantly adjusted back and forth and trade context busy errors in experts log.

Ouch -- running v10 since it was posted about 7 hours ago. 5 digit broker, so that's -287.

Good to see you still here, xchaparro. You did a nice job with the indi, even though offtrend repaints too much. I have a substitute for offtrend that may be better if you want. It would need to be altered to print in the chart instead of the ...

That's partially true, but only as it relates to smaller TFs. Many indis repaint, but when used in combination with others at higher TFs can work very well.

No, IBFX is 4. I just tried it on an old IBFX platform and it works fine. It calls the other indis in this thread, so make sure you have them. Check your experts tab and you'll see what you're missing.
