In my opinion the release of FOMC news is more stable as compared to NFP release. What I have noticed is that post FOMC news the volatility is very high but it is generally in one direction however post NFP release volatility is in both directions ...

WOW. Huge jump in bank overnight rate from 7.75% to 12%. I guess depositing money in Turkey for residents of the country will give huge returns. Does anyone know the rates offered yearly by banks to term depositors in Turkey?

Even after 10 mins of news release little volatility seen but in range so far. GBPUSD yet to go higher or lower.

Last meeting of Ben Bernanke as head of FOMC as Janet Yellen will take over from 1st Feb,2014. So again in this game of probability we are left to choose between further taper or no further taper in this month. Lets see what happens on Wednesday.

Since it has broken the 1.1100 area I believe it to be going a little higher to above 1.1600 area. If FOMC is hawkish and NFP is US positive then we will certainly see it happening. Lets see what happens with or without the 'ifs' & 'buts'.

Aussie dollar seems to be taking a very huge beating. I remember a previous news article that I read in FF some time back about RBA wanting AUDUSD to be around 0.8500. Lets see if that happens.
