While watching Sam Seidens videos he strongly pointed out that when scalping the three minute chart he was trading fx futures and not spot forex. Has anyone else scalped fx futures, and if so how did it pan out with transaction costs?

First time I traded silver I traded my normal lot size and was I in for a big suprise. Good thing I turned out ok, but I now trade a lot smaller lot sizes for gold and silver in relation to the sizes I trade in currencies.
