beside the classic reversal formations, there are certain specific formations connected to reversals like the 123highlow, 3 pushes up/down*, squeezer*, wedges, spike&ledge* * from the book "street smarts" by conners/raschke

mpr, be aware that you can trade news releases with oanda, but usually the spread goes up quite a bit and there might be some slippage cause oanda does not provide true limit orders, just market orders

imber, seems like you are doing the right thing...to do your nasty impulse trades with a very small trade size is better then to press yourself into "discipline" with some raw power..
