Subdude replied Feb 9, 2009I'm getting out of my short just above R1, around 1.4893, TP from 1.4933. Cable has been ridiculous lately, it's as if most traders don't know what they're buying. Perhaps Barclays is partly to blame, but then everyone is also saying the downtrend ...

Subdude replied Feb 8, 2009Ok, right about now would be a great time to get in long, as we are looking at a massive selloff on Wall St in about 14 hours from now. CAD housing starts should help matters further, IMHO. Watch for S1 @ 1.2080 though.
USDCAD trend reversal?

Subdude replied Feb 6, 2009Perhaps. Or you could wait til another 50-100 pips lower. This is another bailout rally clearly liable to fizzle next week.
USDCAD trend reversal?

Subdude replied Feb 4, 2009Yeah, there's a ridiculous amount of fear on the market. A good rally is needed to bring things back to normal a little.

Subdude replied Feb 4, 2009Okay, can someone clue me in - what the hell just happened to cause this 150 pip drop in the space of 1.5 hours?

Subdude replied Feb 3, 2009That's some great analysis!
I just thought that RBA's move and stimulus package have been perceived (at least initially) as positive developments for the currency. I also think that in a very short term (think 1-2 days), equity markets ...AUD/USD

Subdude replied Feb 2, 2009I see a strong move up blowing away R2 around 0.6440 today; Dow futures looking positive, and the rate cut is in line with expectations. Will ride this through the NY session.

Subdude replied Jan 29, 2009Yeah, it would be nice to see what makes someone say stuff like "90% probability trade", "easy peasy", as well as what gives you the idea that you have the altitude to school us, lowly retail FX worms.

Subdude replied Jan 29, 2009Professor 4x: you posts make you sound like a thread hijacker, they are smug and unsubstantiated.

Subdude replied Jan 29, 2009Please post a chart upon which you have based your analysis. I do not see any ascending trends (yet), other than a couple of monster 1H candles.

Subdude replied Jan 29, 2009Heh, well then I guess we shall see how your "easy peasy" theory works out pretty soon - surely it is not based on hope.
Cable Update (GBPUSD)

Subdude replied Jan 29, 2009This is crazy - none of the dollar crosses are respecting risk aversion, except maybe for Aussie and Kiwi! This rally might have another 60-80 pips left in it, and after that it just has to correct.
Cable Update (GBPUSD)

Subdude replied Jan 29, 2009What do you see as the reason for the trendline to be broken right now? No important news released, equity markets are down, dollar is higher against everything but the pound, U.K. economy still sucks. Watch for the plug to be pulled just as quickly ...

Subdude replied Jan 29, 2009I have a resting order to get in short @ 0.6570. If the market does indeed turns as ugly as it looks now, the bottom will fall off this thing and it will slide all the way down to 10-30 zone today, at the very least. Also don't forget the impact the ...
