DrDave replied Apr 2, 2012You mean you, yourself, should not trade on Monday because you can't make money? Because I shorted GBPJPY at 132.69 about 5 hours ago and it hit my TP at 132.50.
So what is the problem with Monday?? DrDaveExtreme TMA System

DrDave replied Apr 1, 2012ATRmultiplier — Hey folks, if you are going to compare TMA True with the repainting version, be sure they both use the same value for ATRMultiplier! I think that bydefault, one of them uses 2 and the other 3.

DrDave replied Apr 1, 2012Thanks — Thanks, zznbrm, for starting this forum. I suspect that most noobs want to simply scroll back on their charts and practice looking for setups rather than having to go through all the work of finding a simulator and learning how to set ...

DrDave replied Apr 1, 2012Have you added a LWMA 56 to a chart and looked at where it plots on the CURRENT candle versus where the extreme TMA midline plots on the current candle? Did you analyze the extreme TMA indicator code to see what is actually calculated? DrDave

DrDave replied Apr 1, 2012Hi Douania, I can tell that you have not read much of the thread, because you would already know all about the spike indicator if you had.

DrDave replied Mar 29, 2012Let's say I see a setup forming on the M15. I also start looking at M1 and M5, because they have to have a valid setup before M15. M15 may not be a valid entry yet, but if I am looking for a buy and get a pullback on the M5 before the M15 has a ...

DrDave replied Mar 29, 2012Some experience in reading the chart cycling is required to do the below, so I suggest the newcomers skip this and stick with the rules. This is when I look at M1 and M5 to see if they have progressed to the point to confirm an m15 buy, even if the ...

DrDave replied Mar 29, 2012You can't know in advance if it will be 3, 5, 10, 20, or 30 bars. That is why you need to look at lower charts to see if they are showing you the move is likely ended on the bigger chart.

DrDave replied Mar 29, 2012I agree the bottom is probably in. But WOW! You took a far out look at m15. That is going out to the level of the D1 chart. I am interested just in the piece between the 2 orange dotted verticals. DrDave

DrDave replied Mar 29, 2012EURGBP 5-10 bars? — For those looking for EURGBP to bottom out to buy, have you been looking at H4 and H1 and counting bars? Remember, legs tend to run 5-10 bars then a correction. When the down move didn't show signs of stopping with 7 down ...

DrDave replied Mar 29, 2012When I walk to the intersection, I always look left because the cars coming from the left side are closer to me. After I was run over in the middle of the crosswalk by a car from the right, I started checking that side, too.

DrDave replied Mar 29, 2012I'm no Al, but I see it this way. H1 is indeed overdue to go up. Bands are clustering at the lower H1 band and staying inside H4 channel. However, the small charts need to complete going down first, then start up. I see M15 still needing to go down ...

DrDave replied Mar 29, 2012Painting 1-2 bars later could prove to be a useful filter for the more conservative trader. He would always wait those 1-2 bars after the normal entry signal to see if the arrow paints, thereby putting him in the trade, if still valid, after it is ...

DrDave replied Mar 29, 2012Did you check the position of the H1 bands, the M5 bands, and how they were pointing? When trading the M15, I think not enough has been said about looking at the M5 before pulling the trigger. DrDave
