kapital replied Jan 7, 2012In his original course material on median lines, Alan Andrews refers to their use as "...a law of nature whenever there are fluctuations.". He illustrated this by applying it to temperature changes (1966 - 1977) in Miami. Can anyone point to any ...

kapital replied Dec 23, 2011When looking at the timing of trades as mentioned above, the only consideration is price reaching the vertical axis of some point in time, correct?

Sine Wave and Channel Reflection, Action/Reaction putting it all together
-
kapital replied Dec 18, 2011This is the best I can do to illustrate what I'm talking about. The tangential slope of the ellipse needs to be the same as the pitchfork. My charting software keeps the slope of an ellipse horizontal. By extending the curvature of the top or bottom ...

kapital replied Dec 18, 2011Thanks for responding auxesis. I am strictly focusing on the 2D instead of the 3D. I just want to see how it will look on screen. It should be simple to draw if you have software which draws diagonal ellipses.

kapital replied Dec 18, 2011The more I think about it, since nothing here is written in stone, I would say it's ok to use the top or bottom portion of the ellipse just to see what happens. So, that's the equivalent to placing the entire ellipse on the points I mentioned.

kapital replied Dec 18, 2011While practicing drawing with the pitchfork, the concept of a curvefork came to mind. Just like the pitchfork, it using three alternating pivots but it would have equidistant curvy lines instead of straight. The basis for the curvature of the lines ...

kapital replied Dec 17, 2011I only mentioned the median line because that is the standard target for any pitchfork. It's not that I have high hopes of price reaching it. Observation is always a priority. "What-if" forks are not a distraction for me. It also is about what you ...

kapital replied Dec 15, 2011WEEKLY EUR/JPY — Will there be a "EUR/JPY Breaks Par" party?
USD/JPY has been under par (100.00) for two straight years. As long as it isn't making any strong and consistent rallies to the upside, I see the above as inevitable. A re-test ...Andrews Pitchfork (Median Line)

kapital replied Dec 13, 2011HOURLY EUR/USD — I made a slight adjustment to the purple upfork after noticing it wasn't placed precisely on a pivot. I also adjusted the the bottom sliding parallel in the previous chart to where the bottom arrow is (previously it was based ...
