If this has any merit to it i will see what i can do regarding a maximum numbers of bars to hold for the open candle. A H1 candle with 400 pips in it and than writing 40 renko bars at close doesn't sound good to me.

I am testing on H1 it but it will take a long time i think. You have to have a H1 bar and there must be enough movement. So we just have to wait.

You could try to do the same but run the cDashes on charts with the same timeframe as the cdash settings. See if that make a difference.
