Seneca pilot replied Mar 31, 2013Well the conversations have been fun tonite guys. I am going to sleep. Bank holidays across Europe and Uk again today. I don't gamble so I will be trading when everybody gets back to their terminals. I doubt there will be many US traders until later ...

Seneca pilot replied Mar 31, 2013Over the years I have had various links to this saved. It never fails, his people find it and have it removed from the net. I have watched this film many times and I am always fascinated by his trading and his life. He has paid, through his ...

Seneca pilot replied Mar 31, 2013Only for UJ. Trust me I have tested this time for EU, GU, EJ, and GJ and the results were not good. I have very good reasons for the time i use on these pairs. The only other time that comes close to the same result is 00:00 GMT but it still isn't ...

Seneca pilot replied Mar 31, 2013I never said that. I don't mind a healthy debate. I learned a little about your and others' reasons for wanting a trade explorer. I don't necessarily agree that it is a big help in learning a method but I see some of your points.

Seneca pilot replied Mar 31, 2013I was simply wrong about the start time for UJ. I was attempting to use the same start time for UJ as I use for the European pairs euro and pound. The correct daily open for UJ is NY close. Small change means big difference in results.

Seneca pilot replied Mar 31, 2013Are you looking buy or sell on Euro? The way i understand your use of the capflow I would have thought you were looking short above 2960. I am still working on reverse engineering to try and figure out the capflow equations you use. If I could use a ...

Seneca pilot replied Mar 31, 2013Too late, I already spilled the beans. I was just using the wrong start time. I don't really care any more, I have a short attention span anyway. Trade well this week, be careful tomorrow is April fools day.

Seneca pilot replied Mar 31, 2013I am not sure if you have read the entire thread. It is fairly long at this point. There were a few times in the thread that I was talking about my problems with trading UJ. I always seemed to zig when I should zag. The problem was that I was trying ...

Seneca pilot replied Mar 31, 2013I could be completely wrong about this whole thing. He was a commercial. He was selling coding services. And I can't think of any reason anyone would start a copycat thread unless they were trying to profit from it in some way. The net is full of ...

Seneca pilot replied Mar 31, 2013Not my style. I have stated my goals here. They do not include a "guru" style training site. I want to manage money nothing more, nothing less. I guess I am just pretty pissed that another is trying to profit off something that was intended to be ...

Seneca pilot replied Mar 31, 2013I am not afraid of people using my ideas. If I was I wouldn't have put them out there. I am sickened by his attempt to profit from them. Show me a thread, any thread on this or any other forum that explains how to trade a daily open like the one I ...

Seneca pilot replied Mar 31, 2013I was warned by senior members that I would regret making this public. I guess now I know what they were so adamant about. I made a new discovery last night with regard to UJ. This pair has given me fits for years and I finally figured out why. Now ...

Seneca pilot replied Mar 31, 2013I want to add one more point. As a profitable trader I have a framework from which I can fairly accurately assess a trading method quickly. I think it is very possible that a trader who has not yet reached profitability may not enjoy the same ...

Seneca pilot replied Mar 30, 2013Proof, if you use it as yardstick to determine if you want to proceed with testing a method further is fine and good. If, however any one would simply blindly begin to trade a method based on a trade explorer (especially one a week old) then they ...
