Since they are likely not going to market until there is a long established history with the trader, they are simulating slippage. @ MFF they encourage you to split larger orders, you're just deciding how to split it. I use variable SLs in FX ...

I use an order entry EA that can auto split orders by your preference. Do you think a 50 lot order spit by 12 would have the same results?

With a broker commissions transfer your capital on deposit to the broker. With a prop firm (challenge model) 99%-99.5% blow their accounts before 1st payout... you have no capital on deposit at the firm, the commissions made are phantom paper ...

They probably feel It's bad marketing to publicly show that their main competition MFF has surpassed them in monthly payouts since late last year after dominating for years.

I'm -1.1% max daily DD (back to back and I'm done), and 28 straight losses to blow account (not happening). I also stop trading until start of next month once I reach >4%... lots of time off to do other things besides staring at charts.

Question for the others that are currently funded... how many months out of 12 would you say your performance is >= what is needed to pass phase 1 of these challenges?

Yea, it's basically MFF & FTMO in the majors and everyone else is in the minor leagues.

Based on most recent web traffic stats.... this is how they rank. This seems to correlate well to size of their monthly payouts... 1a. 3.1M MyForexFunds 1b. 3.1M FTMO 2. 630K The Funded Trader 3. 270K E8 4. 250K The5%ers 5. 200K True FX Funds 6. ...

@Takisd 500K prop account vs 500K retail account @ same risk per trade... do you think execution would be superior with prop firms since they are very unlikely going to market vs trying to execute the same size with a STP ECN broker?

Based on MFF's stats, 0.5-0.7% of evaluation purchasers make it to 1st payout. <10 traders every month receive >50K payouts and those are usually 1x payouts before the majority of the high risk traders blow their accounts. MFF & FTMO have been flip ...

are your entry/exits breakout related with stops laying above/below a previous bar high/low or obvious support/resistance levels? There tends to be way more slippage with those types of entries/exits since the trader's order is completing with tons ...

I get your point but my system has over 1600 trades manually traded in live markets over 4 years. Anything can happen in the future but based on my max losing streak + win rate over that period, unless there is a black swan event, I feel pretty ...

The cost of challenges would mostly be putting the refunded fee back into the next challenge at no cost. Potentially raising flags was a concern I forgot to mention under drawbacks. The firm should be making money before an account is blown, but ...

I don't believe MFF has an inactivity rule, but that would be easy to get around with micro lot trades. Yes, the 600K would be utilizing a trade copier between the 2 300K accounts.

I've been considering altering my strategy.. If passing challenges is not that difficult & time consuming for a trader.... Is it better to run live accounts at significantly higher risk @ let's say 2% per trade (commissions included) with 1-2 backup ...

Let me see if I understand this correctly, To scale 200K to 1.67M... Without the scaling plan you would generate 57K in profits (12K + 13.5K + 15K + 16.5K) You build up 212.5K in profit for them instead (16K + 30.6K + 57.8K + 108.1K) You ...
