Seneca pilot replied Apr 2, 2013Yes, in fact the whole market today has been London saying: Ok we are back from holiday, what the f were you guys thinking, we're going this way. The London close was tested from below in the first fifteen minutes of the London market.

Seneca pilot replied Apr 2, 2013If it will break the close from last week, next stop will be weekly open, then last week low. Maybe we can get a multiday trade out of this one. I finally entered on the third test.

Seneca pilot replied Apr 2, 2013I am sure he will have his own answer but I will say that London close is often the most reliable way to trade GU. It is lightly traded outside London and, of course, London is, by far, the most important market for the pair.

Seneca pilot replied Apr 2, 2013I normally take the entries that come first. I like to have one pound and one euro trade and those triggered before anything else. You sort of had a bit of a clue that GU was going to go down because it didn't have the power to make a retracement to ...

Seneca pilot replied Apr 2, 2013I do the lines manually, I probably always will. I have 1.51802 but I am sure that is just the broker difference. Yes the long at the Monday low would have been a loser today. Lets keep it in context though. EJ, GJ, and EU were all winners from the ...

Seneca pilot replied Apr 2, 2013Sometimes those weekly levels are very sticky. Other weeks the price may shoot off the level and never look back. I tend to look less at the level as it gets hit again and again. The daily levels are easier to play at this point as it gets tougher ...

Seneca pilot replied Apr 2, 2013Discretion with regard to choosing entries is a big part of the success of this method on a given day. Over time things even out. Nice trade.

Seneca pilot replied Apr 2, 2013I did not take it. My valid reasons: I was asleep I had already taken two trades for the night If I were awake and hadn't already traded other stuff I would have taken it and would now be waiting for a retest to short. ATR however could now creep in ...

Seneca pilot replied Apr 2, 2013You are right. I have simple. I said EMA before. Sorry for the confusion. I set my values at midnight as I am setting my lines. I always get the value for the last five full days this way. If you use the current day reading it skews the value ...

Seneca pilot replied Apr 2, 2013I had, at yesterday close on GJ 143.16 for the EMA so 28.6 rounded to 29 plus four for the spread. I missed the OR today. Might be a big mistake as there is 84 more pips to go to the low from last week. My exits are looking better now.

Seneca pilot replied Apr 2, 2013Definitely not my best exits but decent trades and I need some sleep: PS. I almost added another position at Monday low for EJ but too much risk.

Seneca pilot replied Apr 1, 2013When I made that post on No trade zones I really just pulled that chart out of thin air. I did not use any particular lines or prices which I felt were important. I think it is correct if I show you what my no trade zones are for today. This is the ...

Seneca pilot replied Apr 1, 2013Have fun. Helicopters are my true passion. If I can get some time after the twins get a little older that is my next rating to add to the certificate. I wanted to fly in the ARMY but my right eye is not 20/20 and the need for pilots at the time I ...

Seneca pilot replied Apr 1, 2013Had a friend who flew freight in a Cessna 402. He had an engine failure in the mountains and barely got the plane on the ground. Of course all his flying for that outfit was at night. After that experience he left them and went to work for a medical ...

Seneca pilot replied Apr 1, 2013The newer ones have a much better landing quality. In the Seneca 1 I learned multi in you had to run the trim up in the flare or it took a huge pull in the yoke to get the wheel all the way back into your gut. Still with all that sometimes you would ...

Seneca pilot replied Apr 1, 2013Well you can mirror trades from Tradestation but it is complicated. I am currently looking for another broker that I like that uses MT4. I may go back to Oanda. I have considered Interactive Brokers and CITI pro as well but of course I will have the ...
