Fairly sure that it did work. I set it on low values just to prove that it does work. If you have it on D, W , M (Yes your settings are correct) then it willl at most give you 1 alert / day !! And why have you started a new thread? It only confuses ...

Not 100% sure exactly what you want but see if this works for you. mShift set to 0 for current bar forming or set to 1 for last closed bar. HTH

After finally getting my DDE to work I had the same problem and gave up on DDE for now. I checked the tics on MT4 and at the same time the tics on XL via DDE. XL appears to miss some of the tics. Can someone please explain why this would be or what ...

UPDATE — Finally !!! Pinned it down to a conflict with Google!!!!!!!!!!!!! If anyone could shed any further light on what in particular is causing the conflict and how to prevent it I would be forever grateful :-)

DDE is definitely enabled. Have set to enable automatic data updates in XL and the book will then not open ... just hangs. If remove the automatic enable links then when open the workbook it gives "Security Alert" and when I click on enable links ...

If you check the objects list you will find that line is created .... Only it is in the SAME place !! You need to work out the value of iTP iTP = MathRound(T); T=0 sqrt 0 =0 so iTP =0

I assume you are still putting in a double variable. Reread help above. Use Time[highest_bar + iTP] .... iTP was the double variable converted to integer. HTH
