Sorry that I wasn't clear. I was hoping for open/close times for all the transactions in your history file with this EA. You could save a report and attach it to your post.

Hi octomanoak, Do you have more details about these transactions? Open/close times in particular. I'd like to analyze them and see if it is worthwhile to cut trades even if they are in drawdown after a certain amount of time.

Oanda offers it, 50 pip spread at the best of times. ~100 pip average daily range. Super sweet for scalping.

Thanks. Will give it a go this week, I've looked over the transactions from the past week and it looks like Steve's MPTM improves profitability greatly.

Just glancing at it I believe I'm on to something. The Economic News indicator seems to work better if you pass the pair onto it in the first parameter like: iCustom( NewsPairs[d], 0, "Economic News", NULL, true, false, false, true, true, 1, 1); ...

What would you think about something like this then: During out of market hours for both currencies in a pair use RSI2 (eg. EURNZD @ 18GMT) Bump up the RSI by one for each currency in the pair that is actively being traded (RSI3 for EURJPY @10GMT, ...

How large of a jumping stop are you using? Do you vary it from pair to pair?

Great post, wonderful to see your though process at each step. At the points below are you moving your sell order to the new position or initiating an additional sell order even before the previous one is triggered?

I did not set alerts, there were no attempts to trade and no broker hiccups. Would changing market orders to limit orders solve this problem in the EA? In the mean time I'll try running it on one of my VPS' that gets a better ping to the broker.

Nice call, I can say it made me tighten my stops on my existing long. Quite happy with the outcome.

Gonna wait for a downward candle on the daily before I take it. I have a window between 6-12am est where the spread is almost reasonable, as crappy as this is it's forced me to stay in trades longer instead of grabbing a few measly pips. My most ...

Here's a possible short coming up that I'm keeping an eye on with TP's at 2.80 and 2.72. A solid downward candle below 2.95 and I'm in with SL at 3.01 + spread. Gotta be carefull with this pair on Oanda over the weekend as the spread widens to 500 ...
