Are you perhaps letting a larger time frame influence the swings in the smaller tf's perhaps??

Ok, I'm a bit battle worn after my last fight with the dragon so I'm a bit out of tune. The daily shows promise but I wouldn't be surprised at a bit of a pullback shortly at the .38 in fib level on that chart (sorry, the fib's are upside down but ...

@ Sizz. Here's my take on that given the last swing. It has bounced of the inner .68 mark and is heading south, my target to buy in long would be either the 0 or the -38, the -38 would be better as it would complete the swing cycle. only my 2 pips. ...

A small caveat to my previous post, I went short at the 1.38 level just for kicks and would be looking to pull out at say the .61 level as the general trend is heading north. Normally given the larger TF I'd be long this pair and I'd be looking at ...

As sizz mentioned, you have to keep looking. One method i use is I try to make the fib 'fit' the recent PA, the chart I posted is a good example, look closely at all the levels and see where price hit them and changed direction ,<edit> also note the ...

The hardest part to this is Skunny can't possibly teach you how 'he' sees it, you have to explore and learn the tool by your own experimentation. Try pulling a fib on a recent swing (any time frame), this will give you a S/R level at 0 and 100 with ...

Yes, wrong direction is correct and it's not something I want to make a habit of! I got out this morning with a very healthy profit (11% of book value), I hung on as direction moved in my favour and with the help of the magic numbers I rode it up ...

Finally pulled the pin this morning with and 11% profit after closing out my last two units with a small loss (I was up 14%! on my book!). I owe the last couple of days 'good' trading to Skunny for providing some food for thought and a different ...

It's over! — I finally pulled the pin this morning as the A/J was coiling up at the 97.00 mark. At this point I was still down 2700 on my blotter but I had managed to build my book up to over 115k so I booked the small loss and still walked ...

A quick update: Over night I set my tp's at some fib levels I set yesterday and most were hit to leave me with a negative on my blotter of only -$2500 and an account balance of approx. $112.5k, sweet! I opened up this morning to watch a couple more ...

This is how I see it too and I pulled about 4% of my account out of the market last night using this type of set up for buy and profit targets in large and smaller tf's. When setting up fib's in lower tf's I look for confluence as well such as minor ...

You could always open a new account with the 2.5k and give the password to the trader, this way you will both be able to have access to the account and monitor it

Would I have any takers?

After 4-5 days I'm making headway, if I closed out my position now I'd be 2k in front! There's still a bit left in the tank I hope to close out my other negative units in profit and it will have all been worth it.
