Wow. Just looked at all of the charts and the USDXXX charts are showing amazing bullishness. Will be interesting to see how everything closes. Ryan

Bingo. This is all about PRACTICING. We have to learn what items on the chart are most likely to cause reactions and to what extent they likely will. Ryan

Definitely agreed. Additionally I prefer to see the close of the BUOB higher than the close of the engulfed bar, and the more bars that are engulfed the better. Ryan

This was one of 3 trades that I was looking at today. I rather like this pin, but there is not an overly large story that is taking place here. That is really my issue with this one. It is just a pin bar that is forming at a S/R area. Much of what I ...

Wow... That is really nice. Thanks for tossing that up. Really makes me wish that I had a commodities account right now. I need to get done with my paperwork to trade commodities with TOS... Ryan

Your charts look very very different from mine. So much in fact that I had to come back and double check it was the same chart. Here are mine from fxpro for a reference point. Weekly image daily image

Given your close I would have given it more consideration, but I still would not have taken it. There is just too much going on right above it. Tick the traffic box on this one. Traffic does not mean an instant reversal, but it does not allow for ...

This business is not hard, but it never gives a crap what our desires are. It will just as easily chew up a new trader as it will reward a trader who is prepared to receive. All we are saying is evaluate your mind and figure out if your expectations ...

Ha ha had that one happen the other day on EURGBP. These seem to sting less and less each time now though. When I first began I took losses like this personally and they were almost crippling to my trading mindset. Now I just ask is there something ...

Were you saying you thought that a buy or a sell would be better here? I honestly don't see much of a story for either way here. No real J16 entry in all of that to me. Maybe with more of a description I would understand a bit better. Ryan

We do what ever our own system tells us to do, but that does not mean that we ignore items such as this. Base system would say that it is ill advised to trade into these areas, but we all have our modifications. Deep breaths there PB. There is no ...

One thing that I would suggest in making notes is to start a separate list of all possible trades requirements. Once you have all of these take a look at them and figure out which ones and of what type fit what you like. Just a start of the list ...

Just be aware that USDCAD is sitting on top of a fairly strong PPZ and your buy order is above as well. Not sure how much steam is left in that engine, but the bar does look fairly nice. Here is how my chart looks. image GBPCAD looks better to me ...

Some will disagree, but here is what I did to my charts to reduce clutter. It took a moment to get used to, but looking at that chart it is hard to see what is going on. I would keep up candles green, down to red. I would get rid of the grid and ...

DO NOT PLAN ON BEING PROFITABLE IN 12 MONTHS. I don't want to be a downer, but I am going to be realistic. If you are planning on relying/needing trading for an income in the next 12 months- DON'T. Just by your very need to make money you are ...

Not sure that I understand you though process on this.... Not placing stops below the bars is not at all conservative. It is the exact opposite. These are agressive plays and should only be practiced after becoming proficent with the base system ...
