AlphaPip replied Jul 20, 2006Did it produce the 25-2 or 17-3 results? In either case, that's great!

AlphaPip replied Jul 20, 2006Leaving InterbankFX — I'm debating on leaving InterbankFX in favor of another MT4 trader. Probably FXDD, MIG, North Finance or FiboGroup. IBFX has consistently had 4-6 hours of downtime per week on their MT4 platform. They keep promising a ...

AlphaPip replied Jul 20, 2006Hendrick's 55/60 Settings? — Is anyone still testing Hendrick's earlier 55/60 settings or has everyone abandoned it in preference to the 18/42 settings? Just want to know the difference in results. I'm still live with Firebird and at 11-4 for ...

AlphaPip replied Jul 15, 2006I think the only way to reduce the float, is to reduce the TP and SL. But by doing so, you reduce your returns. Mono is somewhere around a billion wins and one loss on 30/300, but I'm at 63-16 using 25/50. But I never carry more than 100 pips in ...

AlphaPip replied Jul 12, 2006If you're still 9-3 using my settings, then you are beating me..... I'm 14-12 after today's Trade Deficit Announcement. In a previous post I had decided to avoid trading on "red flag" days. I might go back and research which Eco reports effect ...

AlphaPip replied Jul 11, 2006How many of your losses where the JPY crosses? I had poor results with them in my demo testing and have not traded them live.

AlphaPip replied Jul 11, 2006Results Anyone — I currently only trade EUR/USD, GBP/USD, and USD/CHF. During my demo account testing, the JPY crosses did not fair so well. How is your USD/CAD? Also, is anyone trading EUR/CHF or EUR/GBP? What are your results for those ...

AlphaPip replied Jul 10, 2006Rough Start for Firebird — Starting the week at 3-2 with 2 floating losses. Not a good start. Hendrick - How's Pheonix looking?

AlphaPip replied Jul 7, 2006Yes, that's correct. My Firebird ran 24/7 all week, and I closed it at 00:00GMT prior to the NFP release to allow Firebird time to close my floating positions. Unfortunately, it still carried 3 positions into the NFP release which got stopped out. ...

AlphaPip replied Jul 7, 2006I have wiped out a couple demo accounts as well. I didn't started trading live until I really understood money management. I never gamble with more than 2% on any trade. AND YOU MUST KEEP GREED IN CHECK! Just because you've hit a little winning ...

AlphaPip replied Jul 7, 2006*EDIT* After reading this, I realized it sounded a bit rude TraderOne. My apologies, didn't mean to come out that way.* I'm using the v63G version. I disabled the EA at the beginning of this morning's US session because I didn't want to get ...

AlphaPip replied Jul 7, 2006After the NFP data, the 3 trades that I had remaining were stopped out for loss. So my weekly total is 20-4 with the SL=50 and PipStep=25. I'm only trading the 3 majors (except JPY).

AlphaPip replied Jul 6, 2006This is a live account. But after a little research, I don't think it's a good idea to have the EA running during a US session when an economic release is expected to have high volatility. (or a Red flag from FF Homepage)

AlphaPip replied Jul 6, 2006I've closed my EA for the week. With NF tomorrow, I don't want to take the chance of a losing run. For the week, I'm 20-1 with 3 positions still open. So during my 3 week test, I'm 18-0, 21-3, and 20-1. I'll resume on Monday. Happy Trading!

AlphaPip replied Jul 5, 2006I've been going over my Account History, and it appears to happen immediately after a reboot, or after I close and reopen a chart. I'm thinking that when I reopen it, prices are outside of the Divergence envelope. So, it must wait until prices ...

AlphaPip replied Jul 5, 2006Dead time for Firebird — Has anyone noticed a "Dead Zone" for Firebird? I had 16 trades on Monday and Tuesday, but 0 in the last 8 hours. This seems to happen on a weekly basis, and typically around the middle of the week. Just wondering if ...
